Friendship is....

...stitched together with laughter and love.

Some time ago, I put my pen to paper and created some stitchery designs. I did this in celebration of friendship because there is nothing more treasured than a dear friend. And, I am very fortunate to have several of them! You all know who you are..... ;-)

There's only one problem, it has taken me a very long time to get some of these stitched. I wanted to share the first of several but I can't promise that the rest will come along quickly! LOL
We are putting kits together this Wednesday, if you are interested. This little wall hanging is 18"x18" and could also be used for a pillow top. It reads, "Friendship is stitched together with laughter and love..."

Now, the next thing that I need to improve on, is my photography and photo editing. I will improve, I promise but it might take me some time.

I have to say, there is one very good thing about this blogging.... If any of you know me very well, I work best under pressure! This puts just enough pressure on me to create new things so that I can keep you interested!
I am challenged and that is gooooood!
Enjoy!

"Fast Friendly Five"....Our newest pattern!

I think this is the fastest project that I have ever put together from design to finish! Thanks to "Leslie's Itchin to be Stitchin", the quilting was done overnight and complete it is!

If you are still looking for a quick project for a Christmas gift, this one is a breeze! I made it in a wonderful fabric collection from Timeless Treasures that features prints in the positive and negative. There are two colourways; the light blue and white shown here and a tan and cream. Both are lovely and fresh!

The pattern calls for 8 fat quarters so a group from any collection works. I would love to see it made up in "Aster Manor" by Moda Fabrics or a group of batiks. How awesome would that be? The possibilities are endless.

We have a few kits available in both colours. Come in and pick one up and before you know it you'll have a beautiful quilt too!

Well, I think I am finally getting the hang of blogging. I have spent many hours on some really great blogs in the last few months. I am hoping that you will enjoy visiting my blog to see what's going on at Gone to Pieces and to see that latest patterns that I have designed. I have discovered that designing is really a passion of mine. If I could design and sew all day, everyday, I would. Reality sets in though and paying the bills gets in the way. If only I could win the lottery.... but wouldn't we all love that!

Anyhow, we have a new fabric collection in stock that is really pretty. I have designed a quilt using 8 fat quarters from the collection. It is monochromatic, in blue and white but we have a tan and cream grouping of the same fabrics as well. I started sewing on Friday and it will be back from the quilter today! Record time from start to finish I think! Come back later when I post a photo!

Bye for now,
Nancy
