"Fast Friendly Five"....Our newest pattern!

I think this is the fastest project that I have ever put together from design to finish! Thanks to "Leslie's Itchin to be Stitchin", the quilting was done overnight and complete it is!

If you are still looking for a quick project for a Christmas gift, this one is a breeze! I made it in a wonderful fabric collection from Timeless Treasures that features prints in the positive and negative. There are two colourways; the light blue and white shown here and a tan and cream. Both are lovely and fresh!

The pattern calls for 8 fat quarters so a group from any collection works. I would love to see it made up in "Aster Manor" by Moda Fabrics or a group of batiks. How awesome would that be? The possibilities are endless.

We have a few kits available in both colours. Come in and pick one up and before you know it you'll have a beautiful quilt too!

  1. Does this kit make a single or double size quilt? What is the cost of the kit? I should have asked you that today while I was at class, but was too busy trying to figure out the applique!!
    Thanks,
    Karla

  3. Hi Karla,
The quilt finishes 56"x74" which would fit a single bed but is really a lap sized quilt. The kit comes to $63.95.
You did a great job on your applique!

  6. Hi Nancy,
When I was in your store this a.m., and picked up the remainder of Star Light, Star Bright BOM kit, I didn't realize that there were no instructions (or diagrams) with kits 8 and up. I know you said that some would be coming, but didn't realize what you meant and since you were so busy, I didn't take the time to ask. Are these the instructions that will be provided later? When would I expect to get them? Thank you for your kindness the last few months. I have really enjoyed my lessons and learned so much. You are a great teacher and extremely patient. I am so sorry to see the classes end. You will be missed. Thanks, Karla
